Terms and Conditions

Fees and Charges

 

Course fees will be set by Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College on an annual basis.
 
Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College will inform prospective and current students of course fees and charges, payment methods and payment schedule prior to commencement of studies.  Details of fees and charges will be available via the website.  Unless otherwise stated, all advertised fees will be fully inclusive i.e. tuition, materials, resources and GST. 
 
Organisations/employers will be invoiced, with full payment to be received within fourteen days of the invoice date. 
 
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card, in person, by mail or telephone. 
 
Course participants/organisations may request information regarding balance of fees paid by contacting reception.

Unpaid Fees

 

All invoices issued by Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College are to be paid within the timeframes stipulated above. AFERC reserves the right to take whatever action is required including, discontinuing programs, institute legal proceedings, etc. to safeguard its interests and applicable costs may be incurred.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

 

Advertised prices are GST inclusive. The portion of the program or qualification fee attributable to the education component is GST free, however in accordance with GST legislation Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College is required to charge GST on the portion of the program that relates to catering. Tax invoices that comply with GST legislation will be issued for all enrolments. The amount of GST will be separately identified on all tax invoices.

Debts Outstanding

 

Student that complete their course and has no outstanding debts will receive their qualifications. However, in the case where the student has outstanding debts, then the 30 days will not begin until they have cleared their debt.

 

NOTE: A student will not receive their qualification, statement of attainment and record of results until the debt is paid. In cases where the student has paid for part of course, for example 2 units of competency and they have completed those units as competent, then they will receive a statement of attainment for those units.

General

  • Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances.

  • The information provided by Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College is correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change. AFERC reserves the right to change course fees, dates, content or facilitators at its discretion.

  • Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College reserves the right to record, via video and/or audio, learning sessions for quality assurance purposes and to support students.
