Live Fire Training Overview
Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College is an approved live fire training facility.
Our live fire training facility will provide students with the fundamental and advanced skills to safely extinguish different types of industrial fire situations.
Our live fire props have been specially designed, built and engineered to Australian and New Zealand Standards and approved by the Gas Inspectorate.
Course Structure
Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College can tailor and develop any live fire situation for all types of industries. We can provide short or long duration courses for our clients.
On successful completion students will be issued with a Statement of Attendance.
Nationally Accredited units of competencies are available and can be issued if required. Please speak with our Training Department for further information.
RTO Entry Requirements
Students must satisfactorily complete a pre medical questionnaire prior to course commencement as students will need to have the physical capacity to undertake the practical components of this course.
Delivery
Delivery modes include classroom led training sessions, self paced learning activities and written assessments.
Training
The course is facilitated by a highly experienced professional fire & rescue training team, and includes trainer presentations, small group work, independent self paced learning and lots of opportunity for practical hands on activities.
Assessment
A range of assessment methods are used to monitor student progress and assess competence. Knowledge checks and practical skill demonstrations are used across all units. Some units also require written activities to be completed. Throughout the course trainers are available to assist and support students in their learning journey and in the completion of assessment requirements.
